Tekken is trending today, and it makes sense: Season 3 was supposed to be a “direction-setting” update, but what players remember is the speed of the follow-up. After Ver.3.00.00 landed, Bandai Namco shipped Ver.3.00.01 as an emergency patch focused on fixes and unintended behavior.
- March 17, 2026: Ver.3.00.00 patch notes published (Season 3 update data).
- March 25–26, 2026: Ver.3.00.01 scheduled as an emergency patch (time varies by region/timezone).
- April 2026: Bandai Namco discussed follow-up updates (including Ver.3.00.02 mid-April and Ver.3.01 late spring).
Ver.3.00.01 is best understood as a “stop the bleeding” patch. It was not a full rework of the meta, and it did not pretend to be. The official notes frame it around fixes for issues that were unintentionally changed, items where response was insufficient, and bugs that caused significant disadvantages.
If you play online a lot, the replay side effects matter too: like previous major updates, the patch impacts replay compatibility and online replay data. It is annoying, but it is also the reality of big system-level adjustments.
If you are grinding ranked, treat the current patch line like a moving target: do not lock your identity into one “Season 3 tier list” video and assume it will hold for months. The safer play is to focus on fundamentals that survive nerfs: movement, punishment consistency, and clean Heat usage instead of gambling on one overly-rewarding starter.
The key signal is not community noise. The key signal is what the next official patch notes say about risk/reward tuning, Heat interactions, and whether “emergency” fixes turn into a consistent cadence of smaller updates.
